Inspired by the wild, unspoiled edges of the world

Working together between Finisterre’s clifftop workshop in Cornwall and Blundstone’s base in the heart of Tasmania the two brands designed a pair of boots inspired by their coastal wilderness landscapes — places that require endurance, resilience and a willingness to embrace the elements — the result, a strong, lightweight, vegan boot made for stepping off the beaten track.

To launch this collaboration we created a campaign theme and supporting material including two shorts and one full-length video featuring two of Tasmanias big wave surfers Lizzie Stokely and Tyler Holmer-Cross.
They discuss their experiences of growing up surfing across remote areas of Tassie and the challenges of riding the infamous wave known and Shipsterns.

The collaboration boot was launched in the UK and supported via social media and a stand-alone product website.
The campaign launched in the UK across multiple touch-points and fast became Finisterre’s highest viewed video on Instagram.
